[Recruiter] Geosciences team have been secured to source a Senior Geophysicist for a well established operating company. As a dynamic independent operator with considerable E&P activities across the globe they have recently invested heavily in the acquisition of new assets within the North Sea. With innovative technology as well as industry-leading corporate process driving their success, this operator has an aggressive business strategy which revolves around acquisition of prospective assets relative to their cost model. This has yielded consistent financial growth since their inception. As the business continues to grow around the globe they are now looking to source a Senior Geophysicist to contribute significantly to their development team.
This role is specifically for an experienced professional so you must have a minimum of 12 years experience with an E&P operator and will preferably have worked very recently, if not currently, on the North Sea. As these assets are matured and already producing you will need to have proven experience of enhancing production. You will be charged with interpretation of acquired seismic data, integrating geological reservoir information into static models. Drawing upon your experience in assessing sub surface risk of opportunity along with supporting the full E&P lifecycle assessment will be necessary to succeed in this diverse environment.
This role would ideally suit a Geophysicist who enjoys the technical work as well as the managerial side of the business whilst working in a multi-disciplinary subsurface team. Someone who thrives on the responsibility of working in a fully integrated team would be well positioned to succeed in the role, in a business which is renowned for considerable investment in both personnel and technological development.
Retaining and developing subsurface Human capital is paramount to my client as such they regularly revise remuneration offered, ensuring comprehensive upper quartile packages will be offered.
