[Company] is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Project Planner to join our Project Controls team based in [Location]. This exciting opportunity will see you working on the word class NR2 project.
As a Senior Project Planner your key role is to assist the Engineering team in effectively and proactively planning the Engineering workload with an emphasis on resource manpower and loading and forecasting.
Your duties will include:
· Providing key dates, milestones, interdependencies, work breakdown structure and schedule requirements,
· Providing detailed logical activity based plans determined by defined construction sequences and provide manpower resourcing analysis for all design discipline and engineering works,
· Providing regular planning status reports and resource histograms including S Curves for major projects and earned value analysis,
· Reviewing potential changes to provide input to the change control procedure and incorporate approved changes into the baseline programme,
· Assisting the NR2 Engineering Manager and Planning Coordinator with monitoring the overall performance of schedule and man-hours for the Engineering group,
· Establishing and maintaining good working relationships at different levels, departments and locations,
· Being an active member in creating and maintaining a culture of HSE leadership that genuinely values no harm to the environment and values our people’s safety, health and well-being.
To be considered for this position you will have at least 10 years Planning experience gained in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry. You will demonstrate proven experience in P3e and have worked amongst a Project Engineering team previously. Your organization and communication skills will be second to none and you will be a keen team player. You will also be adaptable in your approach to company specific planning systems and procedures.
