We are currently looking for a highly motivated Technical Maintenance Operator. As part of a small team you will be responsible for ensuring the timely completion of all maintenance and associated work on the clients’ gas compression assets. Reporting to the Plant Supervisor the incumbent will be required to work independently from time to time.
· Demonstrate a personal commitment to actively participate in the QHSE requirements of the company and its customers.
· A high level of experience within gas plant operations including high pressure gas. Knowledgably supervise the start, stop, monitor & adjustment of gas compressors and other gas treating equipment.
· Skilled in and familiar with Microsoft and other common computer programs Ensure the completion and submission of all reports.
· Above average communication skills
Other key responsibilities include:
· Completion of scheduled maintenance with minimum impact on gas flow. Defects reported and rectified in a timely manner.
· Rapid response to equipment.
· Manage contractors and other personnel as required to complete work in accordance with the maintenance plan.
· Manage site inventory.
This position is tailor made for a qualified mechanic with extensive diesel/gas engine experience, first class technical ability and a passion for your chosen trade who would now like to make the next move in their career.
Rostered shifts offer camp accommodation however it is preferred that the successful candidate relocates to the region and occasional trips to Brisbane will be required.
