This oil & gas group have recently established themselves at the forefront of the coal seam gas market in Australia. Their primary focus have recently shifted from exploration to production and have a vast number of tenements in key strategic geographies throughout Queensland. Due to this expansion, they are looking for a Project/Operations Manager, Drilling to join their team.
As Project/Operations Manager, Drilling you will be responsible for a number of key areas such as:
· Drilling program planning, operations and execution responsibility ensuring forward look drilling schedule is achieved
· Coordination of drilling preparation and logistics including critical equipment planning, land owner agreements, cultural heritage and native title management, camp site management.
· Water management for CSG projects including disposal arrangements
· Environmental operational management, compliance and approvals
· Responsibility for coordination and compliance with operating procedures, safety and OH&S
As Project/Operations Manager, Drilling it is essential that you have proven project management and drilling operations experience within the oil & gas or energy sectors. Due to the critical nature of this role you will need to have exception attention to detail and able to manage projects remotely and from site. A background in engineering, geology will be ideal.
