You have extensive experience in software implementations, and a successful track record of meeting, or better - outperforming defined targets. You have proven management skill, with intuitive ability to identify and develop skills within implementation teams. With experience in juggling diverse responsibilities, you have managed high performers, while increasing operational efficiencies and improving client experiences. Our client is a highly respected, growing software company that develops and implements large scale ERP systems within a niche market. With an unparalleled implementation success rate, this organization is constantly striving to improve both the software and the service they provide. The V.P., Professional Services, will be called upon to deliver end to end implementations, manage projects, develop staff, maintain client relations, improve operational effectiveness, and relentlessly drive products forward.
The successful candidate will:
- Ensure software implementations are delivered on or above targets defined in each engagement's SLA
- Manage a highly skilled, professional implementation team, while developing their skills even further
- Continuously improve operations effectiveness, resulting in month by month improvement of process, tools, and profitability
- Contribute to the final client sales negotiation to define SLA's with Sales
- Set up implementation teams for each engagement based on required skills
- Lead team through each implementation, contributing personally where required
- Coordinate implementation with client marketing and IT teams
- Document and implement process improvements based on each engagement
- Coordinate and perform marketing driver analysis
- Where needed or possible, coordinate and perform data collection and results analysis
- Maintain positive client communication and relationships throughout implementation
- Work closely with Sales to negotiation upcoming contract renewals
- Define resource requirements, recruit, hire and train team members
- Manage development plans for each team member; communicate development targets, review progress and take corrective action as required
- Contribute to the further development of the methodology and software application
The successful candidate will bring:
- Extensive management experience in software implementations, marketing, operations, and professional services delivery, minimum 10+ years in management role
- Masters degree in Marketing, Business Engineering, Management, or Sciences
- MBA in Marketing is a significant advantage
- Extensive experience in managing complex projects with positive results
- Proven ability to manage high performance team members, while increasing their performance sustainability
- Analytical thinking skills, with the ability to see the big picture then piecing it into manageable projects
- Excellent understanding of the software industry including software development operations
This position offers a comprehensive benefits package, an easy going, yet driven team to work with, and a starting salary of $120,000 to $160,000 based on experience and skill fit.
