The Applications Performance Analyst will be responsible for providing performance management reporting and analysis to the Applications Quality Assurance Manager. They will provide support to applications team ensuring performance measures are implemented and accurately reported.
Key accountabilities
- Collecting, analysing and reporting applications delivery performance KPIs and MI includes service level performance, monitoring, incident / problem resolution, change / release management
- Central administration and ownership for Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for Functions Applications.
- Collate and report on application financial and performance MI as required for GFO, QPR and quarterly LT reporting.
- Collate and coordinate the creation of the annual applications plan
- Monitor applications delivery progress against agreed plan
- Responsible for tracking and monitoring the adherence to processes
- Undertake periodic audits of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) to ensure the quality of the data and take corrective action where necessary
- Produce periodic and adhoc reports from the CMDB Business Objects Universe.
- Provide analytic support to the Applications Quality Manager on process and quality improvement initiatives
Essential criteria & qualifications
- Experience in Performance Analysis and Reporting
- Experience working within complex supplier management organisations
- Experience in a Service Delivery role, either as a Service Delivery Analyst or within a helpdesk environment
- Experience with non-financial KPI/ MI reporting including use of query, reporting and presentation tools (MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access)
Desirable criteria & qualifications
- Experience with Visio; Business Objects
- Knowledge of ITIL
- Experience working with Incident/Change/Problem tools (Remedy)
- Familiarity with the [Company] financial planning processes desirable
