Job Description:
Supports Lead Instrument & Control Systems Engineer in ensuring systems availability to meet operational requirements safely, efficiently and at minimum cost. Provides trouble shooting/problem solving assistance to operations. Coordinates with Asset Maintenance teams, activities carried out by vendor specialists. Provide technical support for safe operation and functionality of integrated control systems (ICS) deployed in Qatargas facilities. Provides support to Asset Maintenance Instrumentation team for trouble shooting Instrument and System related issues. Liaises with Long Term Service Agreements (LTSA) Contractor and support Lead I&C systems Engineer for effective administration of system LTSA. Actively participates in system Factory acceptance test (FAT), site commissioning and startup activities for smooth system implementation and administration.
Required Qualification:
BSc.in Instrument or Control System Engineering or equivalent.
Required Experience:
8 years' maintenance experience in a modern oil or gas processing plant which uses DCS/TMR/PLC technology, including at least 5 years supervisory experience. Very good written and spoken English
