Job Description:
Reporting to Head of Environmental Affairs assists with the management of environmental databases involving the collation and review of data for emissions inventory, wastewater treatment, waste management and recycling reporting for onshore and offshore facilities. Post involves participating in the development and updating of environmental procedures with some analytical and assessment work in support of environmental improvement initiatives. Position includes assisting with the management of [Company] environmental management system (EMS) and with the maintenance of the environmental monitoring plan in support of regulatory compliance. The post involves supervising contractors in support of environmental monitoring projects and assisting with the development and communication of environmental protection policies for all operations of [Company], including the specific areas of environmental protection and external communications, corporate responsibility initiatives, community outreach publications and posters.
Required Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in a science or engineering discipline
Required Experience:
min. 5 years experience with at least 2 years directly related to the oil and gas industry. Computer literacy, involving the regular use of database, spreadsheet and presentation software required.
