Job description
- Ensure that the start-up and handover of the ICS is performed safely and efficiently.
- Provide Subject Matter Expert input to Project Activity and EPC Bid Process
- Co-ordinate and lead the ICS design, staging, and commissioning/construction activities on the project.
- Lead the Project Standards team for Automation solutions
- Lead and approve all common scope activity for Factory Acceptance Tests at MAC Staging Facility
- Assist in preparing Management of Change requests for the Change Manager for all interfaces that don’t match the FEED effort.
Requirements
- B.S. in Chemical, Mechanical, Automation, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering, with 15 years post graduate experience in design & development of capital projects in the oil/gas industry at senior level.
- Proven ability to conduct and lead execution of work in a team environment.
- Demonstrated experience specifying, scoping, installing and testing large controls and automation systems
- Experience and demonstrated ability to manage an automation and process control EPC contractor
- Thorough knowledge of control systems, safety shutdown systems and fire & gas detection systems generally incorporated in major oil /gas project is essential.
