Job description
- Ensure that project is technically sound and optimally designed, engineered to appropriate standards and specifications, meeting required product specification and meeting HSE requirements.
- Ensure that EPC contractor complies with all its obligations under the EPC contract, including adherence to the specifications, schedule and procedures.
- Take necessary corrective action to align project back on track in case of deviations from plans (cost, schedule, quality, HSE, performance, operability, maintainability, etc.).
- Coordinate responses to technical audits; HAZOP findings; spec deviations as reported by QA/QC functions; construction site technical queries.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited university with minimum fifteen (15) years of project and engineering management experience in the oil/gas industry.
- Experience on large-scale oil/gas and petrochemical capital projects
- Has clearly demonstrated strong engineering competence
- Ability to work within a diverse cultural environment
- Demonstrated interpersonal/teambuilding skills
