Job description
- Manage the EPC contractor in a manner that achieves a quality installation meeting performance parameters set out in the scope of work within the cost and schedule targets in the EPC contract.
- Review and prepare responses to bidder queries during the EPC bidding phase
- Manage the technical EPC bid & provides input for selection of the EPC contractor.
- Ensure that cost effective solutions in engineering design are adopted while maintaining quality, constructability, operability and maintainability.
- Review and approve the QA/QC procedure.
- Review and approve the monthly progress and milestone completion certificates.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited university with minimum fifteen (15) years of project and engineering management experience in the oil/gas industry.
- Experience on large-scale oil/gas and petrochemical capital projects
- Has clearly demonstrated strong engineering competence
- Ability to work within a diverse cultural environment
- Demonstrated interpersonal/teambuilding skills
