[Company] is an Australian based oil and gas exploration and production company pursuing an ambitious growth strategy. Currently embarking on a ground breaking project in Queensland, investing over $7.7 billion, we’re developing a world first LNG plant in [Location] which will turn coal seam gas (CSG) into liquefied natural gas (LNG).
The Construction Adviser is responsible for managing the construction of the 425km GLNG Gas Transmission Pipeline and associated infrastructure whilst also providing the Owner’s site representation during the construction phase.
Duties include but are not limited to:
· Leadership of [Company] and contractor project delivery team resources to meet the safety, environmental, technical, cost, quality and schedule requirements of assigned project scope in accordance with [Company] procedures;
· Adopting and promoting personal work practices and procedures in accordance with [Company]’ Environment, Health and Safety Management System (EHSMS) standards
· Delivery of the GLNG Project development assessments and approvals in accordance with statutory and regulatory requirements at the federal, state and local level;
· Working closely with [Company]’ Operations, Commercial, and Facilities personnel, Landowners, and [Company] personnel or their representatives to ensure project objectives and quality standards are agreed to and met;
· Closely monitoring the activities of design consultants, vendors and contractors during all phases of project execution to ensure agreed construction objectives are met;
· Ensuring that designs produced by EPC Contractor incorporate legislative requirements and comply with [Company]’ quality assurance requirements;
· Coordination of project scope interfaces;
· Preparation and lodgement of all permits and licences for construction and operation and ensuring that these are secured in time;
· Reporting regularly to Management and Joint Venture Parties on cost, schedule and performance of pipeline construction scope.
Having attained a tertiary Mechanical or Civil engineering qualification, you will have proven and considerable experience in Pipeline project and construction management (Oil and Gas) with solid exposure to representing an ‘owner’ company and supervising teams responsible for EPC construction. Your communication and influencing skills will be exceptional, complementing your self-motivated and adaptable approach.
