We are looking for a Pipeline Construction Manager for a major new pipeline project on the East Coast of Australia.
Our client operates as a worldwide managing contractor, providing a range of multidisciplinary solutions for the oil, gas, water and electricity sectors. Recently they have been awarded a Pipeline Construction Contract for the construction of a 940 kilometer gas pipeline project.
Requirements And Duties:
· Ideally 10 years experience in Greenfield pipeline construction projects within the Oil and Gas domain
· We are looking for people with extensive experience working in a large project environment.
· Initially office based in Brisbane where duties will include construction planning, cost estimatates, review of detailed design and scheduling the review of project specifications and procedures.
· Work on site is expected to start on site in March 2010 and the successful applicant will then orchestrate and supervise the construction management of all field activities.
· Field experience in construction & commissioning also; Route Studies, Material Selection, Life Cycle Cost Analysis
· Lead a team to ensure that all project target milestones and deliverables are met
· Ensure compliance with all Australian regulations, codes and guidelines regarding requirements, including a strong focus and respect on Health and Safety issues.
· Office and site based experience
· A strong pipeline construction project portfolio
· Strong planning, administrative qualities.
· Site supervisor skills
