Due to continued growth and expansion we are now looking for an experienced Senior Geologist to join their team immediately. This growing organisation has recently aligned themselves with a global petroleum group that is concentrating on the production of LNG resulting in guaranteed career development on a global scale.
To meet their calculated growth plans, that incorporates: exploration, technical engineering and senior management, the immediate focus is on a critical role within their Exploration & Production teams - Senior Geologist. Reporting to the Chief Geologist and working out of the head office in [Location] you will oversee the exploration program. You will frequently travel to site to ensure that the operations remain inline with your expectations.
The standout Geologist would have a proven background in:
· Managing exploration programs on coal seem gas wells
· Data interpretation, data management and maintaining database integrity
· Field Coordination of project geologists and site supervision experience
· Gas Desorption, Geological mapping and mentoring other geologists
· Previous exposure in a Client or Operator environment is critical
· Bachelors degree in Geology or Earth Science with a minimum of 10 years experience
