Our global client is an industry leader in the development and delivery of advanced products, systems and services to the subsea industry.
An outstanding career opportunity has arisen for a Senior System Engineer to support their projects team with subsea system engineering issues.
Through personal leadership and systems engineering expertise you will provide technical support and advice on a wide range of problems on subsea production systems.
This will include FEED studies / tender work to optimize the drilling, operation and maintenance programs to develop optimized field layout.
The challenge will be to develop the level of expertise to ensure their solution is competitive and preferred by the end client.
Overall you will ensure that System Engineering is performed in a timely manner in accordance with company / project standards.
The successful applicant will possess:
· Tertiary qualifications, with experience in subsea projects
· Knowledge of Vetco Gray products would be advantageous but not essential
· Previous product design experience in Oilfield Drilling Equipment and / or Production Equipment
· Solid knowledge of industry standards
· Demonstrable record in client interactions
· Initiative and a readiness to make informed decisions
· Knowledge amp; understanding of other related systems engineering skills such as Factory Acceptance Procedures, Safety amp; Environmental Controls
