Our N.E. client assists small and medium sized oil & gas companies to enhance operational performance by providing custom IT solutions. They are currently seeking a Business Development Executive to join their team.

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to; 
 
  • Working with the President and VP to develop strategic business goals for the new branch of the organization
  • Developing strategic business partnerships with new and existing clients to determine their needs for the company's Operational Management System
  • Showcase the software's performance to clients by explaining how it will relate to keeping track of costs within the field; rentals, crews, time billing for labor, materials, etc.
  • Highlight the cost saving benefits to new and existing clients by using this software
  • Creating new client relationships on an international level in Canada and the United States to promote the product
  • Develop and manage a team of sales professionals that will take the software to the clients and ensure that they meet targets specified
  • Create marketing campaigns to generate interest about the new product
 
The successful candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications; 
 
  • At least 5-8 years of experience in an executive level Business Development role
  • Experience promoting technical software, such as SAAS, Sales Force, Go To Meeting, or Basecamp
  • Ability to work independently and within team environment
  • Innovative and outgoing
  • Energetic, direct and friendly
  • A well established network of clients, preferably within the oil & gas industry
  • Comfortable with travel within Canada and the United States
