Reservoir engineers support the wider group of engineers and geoscientists who develop and produce hydrocarbon resources. They work within a sub-surface multi-disciplinary context to help predict the rate and reserve potential of hydrocarbon fields, and plan the field development in such a way to maximize its hydrocarbon recovery and project value.
 
Reservoir engineers help develop effective tools that can integrate various petroleum-related disciplines to provide assurance on investments and increase reservoir productivity. They develop a consensus methodology for maximizing total economic hydrocarbon recovery from reservoirs, defining optimal depletion plans, and quantifying the reservoir development life cycle environmental impact.
 
Key accountabilities will be determined when you join the programme.
 
 
Essential criteria & qualifications
  • Citizen of Trinidad & Tobago or a resident who is legally permitted to accept employment in Trinidad & Tobago.
  • No more than 2 years work experience.
  • Degree in a closely related discipline with:
  • A minimum of an upper second class honours OR
  • A minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 OR 4.0 out of 5.0 OR
  • A post graduate degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0, or distinction.
  • Skillful in the use of MS Office software (Word, Project, Excel, PowerPoint).
