Our client is active in Australian waters and owns vessels capable of supporting all phases of offshore energy exploration, development and production of oil and natural gas.
The team is experienced and has well-trained seafarers with shore support staff capable of meeting the demanding conditions of offshore energy.
Reporting to the Directors, you will drive to deliver safe, reliable and compliant operations. This role will lead and manage all aspects of vessel operations and resources to deliver cost effective, timely and high quality services to meet the contractual requirements of the Gorgon project and others.
Qualifications and experience:
· Demonstrated experience in the management of vessel and shipping operations
· Demonstrated experience developing and managing operational budgets and sound understanding of financial management principles
· Demonstrated experience in developing, co-ordinating and implementing plans, policies and procedures in support of organisational strategic objectives
· Marine qualifications and/or previous relevant experience in the marine, offshore oil and gas industry

· Able to work under pressure
