Job Specification:
Based in [Location] this position is ideally suited to an experienced account manager or sales engineer working within the subsea sector, with product knowledge of hydraulics, electrical and fibre optics.
Responsible to the Sales & Marketing Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- To establish long term business relationships with key clients
- Provide client support throughout projects
- Be involved in all aspects of the projects including:
- Negotiation of global contracts
- Liaising with other departments to ensure projects are delivered on time, invoices are paid and customer satisfaction remains high
- Monitors market expectations, requirements and trends and provides market input on client accounts
- Reports monthly on key performance indicators
- Working on ITT (Invitation to Tender) bids and other commercial proposals
- Overseas travel
Key Skills/Experience:
- Sales and marketing experience
- Experience managing client relationships within the oil and gas industry
- Industry knowledge of subsea processes and products
- An engineering qualification or equivalent
This position is based in [Location] and will require travel overseas, possible destinations include Nigeria, Brazil and USA.
The salary for the role is £27-£29k basic depending on experience, 23 days holiday and an excellent benefits package including health care, pension, discounted share option, flexible benefits scheme.
