[Recruiter] is working in partnership with one of the major producers of methane gas and is proud to introduce this newly created position: Senior Operations Geologist. This international company is now operating in China, India, South East Asia and of course Australia.
In this role you will find your self mostly office [Location] based working on [Location], with the alternative senior operations geologist. You will be responsible for managing the field crews, maintaining the drilling program and providing technical direction to the geological mapping, all whilst maintaining the highest level of site safety and awareness.
Your proven background must consist of:
· Bachelor in Geology
· An extensive background in exploration - Ideally coal / CSG-CBM
· A working knowledge of different drilling operations / drilling types
· Data management - software programs
· Mapping interpretation and simulation
