An expert LNG Operations Manager is now required, to directly support [Location] performance, and to facilitate the growth of LNG expertise across [Company] globally.
The required candidate must be proven at on-site management of a large LNG plant, with a strong track record of safety leadership, driving operating discipline, and maintaining high plant efficiency.
The candidate must have the knowledge, experience and reputation necessary to function as [Company] leading expert in LNG operations.
Key accountabilities
- Located at [Location], working rotational pattern back-to-back with another Senior Operations Manager.
- Report to Operations Director.
- Provide technical expertise and safety leadership, to deliver global best-in-class operating efficiency of [Location] LNG business.
- Setting standards for safety performance and operating discipline across the operation: driving and coaching to ensure these standards are met and maintained
- Analysis and resolution of plant upsets, working with site team, engineering support, and vendors
- Plant optimization, through tuning of process parameters and adjustment of operating, maintenance and inspection procedures
- Develop organizational capability in [Company] Indonesia, to build a population with sufficient LNG knowledge and experience to resource [Company] growing position in global LNG operatorship.
- Direct coaching of on-site teams and Jakarta-based engineering support
- Input to recruitment, training, and assessment programs for LNG staff
- Create experience-transfer and learning across [Company] LNG activities across Asia-Pacific and globally
- Input to the engineering, project, procurement and start-up phases of future phases of [Location], and other [Company] LNG businesses.
- Facilitate access to global industry best practice, and ensure this is reflected in [Company] facilities and operations
- Input lessons-learned from [Location] current operation into future [Location] phases, and across [Company]
Essential criteria & qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from accredited university (Government work permit requirement)
- Solid industry experience with bias to complex hydrocarbon processing activities
- Deep experience in LNG, covering engineering, start-up and operating phases
- Experience in senior technical management role
- Experience in on-site safety leadership
- Track-record of improving operational performance of LNG plant, and raising standard of operating discipline across a large facility
Desirable criteria & qualifications
- Chartered Engineer or Profession Engineer status is an advantage
- Proven track record of strong Continuous Improvement skills.
- Are you recognized as a credible leader in operations
- Experience in developing and delivering on annual budgets for operations.
