Key accountabilities
- Responsible for the maintenance and repair (ICS) of the facilities equipment as directed by the E&I Supervisor. Maintain compliance with all aspects of the Vessel HSE requirements, including CoW and maintenance/ technical integrity management tools
- Maintain HSE compliance at all stages of the work scope.
- Lead day to day planning and execution of all Instrument activities.
- Assist in the development and competency sign off of the Angolan technicians.
- Support Instrument Team for training, development and competence assessment of the Angolan Technician trainees
- Participate in task base risk assessments and provide technical input (ICS) where necessary.
- Act as part of the Emergency Response Team member as required.
- Respond to equipment Breakdowns and ensure work is executed in line with ISSOW/SIRP standards.
- Assist in implementation of the Offshore Technical Integrity strategy.
- A knowledge of Maintenance management principals and Planning process is required.
Essential criteria & qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of Safe systems of Work including permit to work and risk assessments.
- Experience in the delivery of SIRP/ISSOW (or similar) for work site preparation.
- Experience in performance improvement programmes.
- Experience in working with vendors and performance feedback.
- Experience in working with different cultures.
- Extensive knowledge of process equipment and its function.
- Knowledge of integrity management requirements.
- 7 years experience in a control or instrument discipline.
- Experience in working with a range of integrated control and associated systems.
- Knowledge and understanding of the MOC and SCR systems.
- Ability to work with vendors – both on site and via remote access.
Desirable criteria & qualifications
- It is preferred but not essential that the candidate will have previous experience of:
- Offshore Operations on a Floating, Production Storage & offloading installation
- A Maximo user
- Working in a multicultural environment
- Experience of major project commissioning
- Experience of major project operational readiness inclusive of maintenance build
