Key accountabilities
Responsible for maintaining the Integrity of all mechanical related equipment onboard the FPSO.
The Mechanical Supervisor role will be both demanding and challenging. It requires an Individual who has strong Interpersonal skill, is self motivated, able to work with minimum supervision, has a skill set that will enable and drive development and is capable of working within a team to deliver continuous improvements to the FPSO Offshore processes.
Accountabilities:
- Provide HSE leadership to the Mechanical maintenance team.
- Lead day to day planning and execution of all Mechanical activities.
- Assist in the development mentoring and competency sign off of the Angolan technicians.
- Manage all support vendors within the Mechanical fields.
- Act as part of the Emergency Response Team as required.
- Respond to equipment Breakdowns and ensure sufficient spares are held to deal with any foreseeable events.
- Assist in implementation of the Offshore Technical Integrity strategy.
- A full knowledge of Maintenance management principals and the development of Planned maintenance programs is required.
Essential criteria & qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of Safe systems of Work including permit to work.
- Knowledge of maintenance management systems, sparing strategies.
- Knowledge of planning and work scheduling.
- Understanding of risk assessment process.
- Knowledge of the principals and application of Integrity management.
- Proven coaching skills with a track record of developing technicians.
- Experience in working with vendors and performance feedback.
- 10 years experience in a mechanical discipline.
Desirable criteria & qualifications
- Time spent in a Supervisory / leadership role.
- Offshore Operations on a Floating, Production Storage & offloading installation.
- A Maximo super user.
- Working overseas in a multicultural environment.
- Experience in the development and delivery of maintenance management systems.
- Experience in working with different cultures.
- Experience of major project commissioning.
- Experience of major project operational readiness.
