Our client, a leading EPCM Joint venture has a vacancy for a Project Quality Representative to work on their existing port projects. This is a [Location] based, long term contract position which will require the successful candidate to start as soon as possible.    
 
The Project Quality Representative (PQR) assists the Port Area QA Manager with monitoring the implementation of the Quality System across all areas. The PQR reports directly to the Port Area QA Manager and has responsibility for assuring that all Project activities are performed in accordance with the Project-specific Quality plan, Activity Plan, Approved Procedures, Contract and client requirements.
 
Some of your duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
·         Assists in the development of an appropriate Audit Strategy for the Project with input from key Project Team members.
·         Assists in the preparation of the Quality Section of the Project Execution Plan (PEP).
·         Assists in the implementation and preparation of the  Project Audit Plan using the FAST standards and obtaining the required approvals.
·         Performing and documenting all Project audits.
·         Ensuring that corrective and preventive actions are documented and addressed.
·         Performing other Quality activities, such as tracking Quality Performance Indicators (QPIs), as instructed by the Programme QA Manager and performing spot checks.
·         Reporting findings to the Area Project QA Manager's.
·         Assisting with review of Contractors/Suppliers QA deliverables.
·         Assisting with review of Tender/RFQ documentation for quality. 
·         Assisting with Tenderer reviews as requested.
 
In order to be considered for this role you will require 10 years experience in QA/Engineering/Inspection on previous fabrication or construction projects. You will have either tertiary qualifications in engineering or an equivalent  trade background and will have formal training in inspection and quality assurance.
