[Company] is developing a substantial new coal seam gas (CSG) business including the world-first CSG to liquefied natural gas (LNG) project with an LNG facility in [Location]. This major project will see coal seam gas piped from world class gas fields to [Location] where it will be converted to LNG and exported. In addition, [Company] is vigorously developing a leading CSG position in NSW to underpin its expanding energy business on the eastern seaboard.
You will work within CSG Planning and Compliance Team to assist in the management of the significant joint venture relationships that underpin all Eastern Queensland and New South Wales based activity.
Duties include but are not limited to:
· Planning, monitoring and reporting joint venture activity in compliance with operating agreements.
· Support internal Santos teams involved with joint operations/activity to ensure compliance with operating agreements.
· Scheduling and coordinating joint venture technical and management meetings and workshops: preparing and sending notices and agendas, compiling information packs, distributing minutes and notes.
· Maintaining joint venture information and files.
· Contribute to work supporting drafting or amending joint venture and farm-in agreements.
· Support the development and maintenance of joint venture information portals and providing support to joint venture parties on their the use.
· Distribute copies of all permit correspondence to the joint venture parties.
The ideal candidate will have a proven background in a Joint Venture Coordinator role or will have worked in an accounting/commercial/legal role with exposure to joint venture agreements/contracts. An understanding of the upstream oil and gas industry will be highly regarded. You will have a strong understanding of the Microsoft Office suite and your organizational skills will be complemented by the ability to interact and build effective relationships with internal and external parties.
