Reporting to the Project Controls Manager for GLNG (Gladstone LNG project) Downstream you will be responsible to provide the support on contractual requirements for GLNG business activities as assigned.
 
Key Accountabilities:
·         As required provide support to “Invoice Payment” to ensure alignment of invoices with Contract requirements
·         Provide support to Downstream Departments to ensure appropriate contracts are in place. Undertake completion of a Contract request, Capability Assurance and Risk analysis for potential new contracts as required
·         Support and report on delivery of GLNG Downstream regulatory compliance. Monitor achievement of schedule and recommend mitigation actions as necessary
·         Understand and apply GLNG Equal Employment Opportunity policy within the workplace.
·         Develop alternative market opportunities that will provide GLNG with potential commercial opportunities
·         Monitor, co-ordinate and delivery the requirements of the Enhance Project By-Law Scheme, Project Industry Participation Plan including co-ordination of the Communications Plan
·         Compliance with the purchase of hazardous substances requirements
·         Ensure Contracts and Purchase Orders comply with GLNG policies and procedures
·         Ensure the Purchase Order reflects the schedule and cost WBS
·         Other duties as required at the direction of the Project Controls and Procurement Team Leader
 
Required Skills and Qualifications:
·         Relevant tertiary qualification is desirable
·         Strong oral and written communication skills
·         Skilled and competent negotiator
·         Strong innovation, analytical and problem solving skills
·         The ability to influence internal stakeholders
·         Achieve quality standards and performance
·         Effective change agent
 
Ideally you will have experience in administration of contracts for the provisioning of materials & services within the Oil & Gas, Mining or infrastructure industries. Or have been in a support role for Project Controls teams within a Contractor or Supplier organisation. You will have good commercial acumen and be able to set and achieve targets & milestones with a strong customer service outlook.
