RESONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in the establishment of project standards based on contract requirements and regulations.
- Develop and communicate project quality procedures and protocols.
- Perform staff and craft employee training on quality standards and procedures.
- Conduct work area audits, inspections and tests of work as it is performed.
- Identify and control existing and predictable deficiencies and implement effective corrective measures.
- Provide governance to the team in relation to all aspects of QA/QC being implemented
- Ensure all preventive and corrective actions performed for the project/site are resolved in a timely manner that is satisfactory to the client, regulator and company quality requirements.
- Review and ensue project/site quality documentation is issued and maintained per client, regulator and company quality requirements.
- Inspect and document contract installation/service workmanship in accordance with company standards and documents.
- Assist supervisor and Foreman in following up on unacceptable inspections to ensure work is completed to satisfactory levels.
- Maintain appropriate records for management review.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in a Quality Assurance and Quality Control with Oil and Gas projects.
- Knowledgeable of the construction process and skilled in the application of codes, standards and regulations.
- Ability to work in an office or site environment autonomously or independently.
- 10 + years QA/QC experience.
