Responsibilities:
This position enforces safety regulations, plan, carry out and monitor safety programmes as well as provide professional advice on all aspects of operational and technical safety to ensure employees are free from injury and occupational diseases with the ultimate prospect of minimizing company losses.
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering/Science or proven experience in a similar HSE position.
- Specialized knowledge in Safety Techniques & Management and an approved accreditation from National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health for working in the offshore oil & gas industry.
- Has good understanding of oil and gas project activities including, drilling and production operations.
- Minimum ten (10) years HSE experience of which five (5) years must have been in the offshore oil and gas or petrochemical industry.
- Must be competent in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and capable of report writing.
