Our Client, a global leader in the Oil & Gas industry is currently seeking a Contracts Advisor to join their [Location] Team to ensure compliance with company and joint venture parties’ requirements and also to manage the negotiations of commercial exceptions, including terms and conditions and commercial risk management for consistent application across the project.
As a Contract Advisor you are required to:
· Assure governance of the project contracting and procurement through compliance and assurance with the company’s processes and procedures
· Monitor contract approvals and requirements to assure appropriate documentation reaches contract files
· Develop and implement contracting training program for contract advisors, contract owners for effective administration of company contracting and procurement guidelines
· Coordinate contracting and procurement training program
· Develop and distribute required reports for the project
· Schedule and coordinate community of practice training sessions among relates parties
· Liaise with major capital projects contracting and procurement for operational excellence and support.
To be successful for this role you will:
· Minimum of 5 years contracts experience in operational environment, preferably Oil & Gas
· Attention to details and ability to work independently and lead the process
· Bachelor of Business or related preferred but not essential
