Role synopsis
• To support Trade Marketing Manager MY/SG in the Auto Lubricants Business in Malaysia & Singapore, in the delivery of the in-year company’s performance contract & WILG strategy.
• To lead and support all trade promotional activities, trade schemes & rebates, trade merchandising campaigns and customer events for cross spaces/business segments.
Key accountabilities
• Support the development of Trade Marketing Strategy and Customer Marketing initiatives across all categories.
• Manage all trade businesses & events for direct customers and distributors.
• Responsible for the proposal & development of all trade programs for cross categories to support the Marketing Managers and Sales Managers.
• Support Trade Marketing Manager in ASP management by category. Liaise with Sales Operation Team on execution, monitoring & result tracking and evaluation (pre and post analysis).
• Responsible for supporting decision making process by obtaining feedback through direct interaction with Sales Managers, Sales Operation Manager and Marketing Managers.
• Support the development of channel long term strategic plan by brand (vision, platform, trade strategy and research). Be the critical contact for communicating the Customer Marketing initiative objectives, tactics, and promotional insights.
• Develop tactical tailor-made campaigns to support and meet the requirements of each channel dynamics.
• Responsible for resource allocation proposals for the Trade Management across categories and business segments
Essential criteria & qualifications
Qualification:
• Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics or other related field.
Experience:
• The ideal candidate should possess minimum 4 years experience in Trade Marketing or brand/product management; preferably in FMCG environment with sound track record in various consumer sales and marketing roles.
• Able to leverage and grow the business in line with the strategic direction
• Possess high level of analytical and problem solving skills.
• Highly independent, a team player and able to work under pressure.
• Strong PC skills - particularly with respect to MIS programs
• Good in communication and presentation.
Desirable criteria & qualifications
• Sales and key account management experience would be an added advantage.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
• Able to multi-task, adapt and influence others
• Able to work independently and with minimum supervision.
• Multi-lingual is an added advantage
