Description of Accountability
Reporting to the Lead Inspector, this position is responsible for In-Service Pressure Vessel, Piping and Tank Inspection Programs. The Inspector ensures that critical inspections are carried out in accordance with standards and procedures, and that they are reported and documented as per Quality Assurance programs. The Inspector establishes, implements, maintains and improves QA programs to focus on plant/equipment integrity and reliability.
Experience and Education Requirements
Preferred applicants will be graduates of a Mechanical/Metallurgical/Welding Materials Engineering Technology Program and be eligible for membership in ASET. In addition the following qualifications will be required:
- 5-8 years experience in an operating plant performing condition assessment and inspection of pressure equipment.
- NDE certification in UT, LPI or MPI would be an asset.
- API 510, API 570 certifications are strongly desired.
