Job Description:
Our Oil & Gas Client is in need of a Brownfield Project Supply Lead in Houston, Texas.
Accountabilities:
- Assurance of compliance with Corporate, CSG and Supply policies, procedures and statutory requirements
- Drive Project Supply excellence and manage/minimize risks effectively from concept to handover
- Deliver supply excellence for development projects
- Procure to Pay and Source to Contract processes pertaining to the projects
- Manage the Supply team and activities focused on meeting or exceeding Project requirements and objectives
- Ensure adoption and sharing of lessons learned and transfer of Best and Leading Practices
- Facilitate tollgate, peer assists and reviews and post sanction and completion reviews for the Supply function
- Facilitate engagement with Project Delivery Managers and Category Managers to aggregate demand planning to capture leverage opportunities
- Identify emerging market opportunities
Experience / Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business or Law
- MBA preferred
- Min 10 years experience in the resources industry with exposure to major oil & gas projects in supply chain management
- Contract negotiation experience on major projects (local & international) with a detailed understanding of required contract terms, risks and benefits of variation of contract type and terms (EPC, EPCM, lump sum, fixed fee, cost plus, reimbursable, risk incentives etc.)
- A comprehensive understanding of upstream E&P business
- A comprehensive understanding of Project Supply Chain Management
- A comprehensive understanding of Production Supply Chain Management
- Advanced risk and business management skills
- Superior communication and problem solving skills
- MS Office required, SAP R3 MM highly desirable
