Role Summary/Purpose
The Account Manager responsible for leading and strategically growing our full scope of [Company] drilling products and services across land, subsea and capital drilling equipment.
Essential Responsibilities
- To promote and market all [Company] Drilling and Production Systems, products and services, primarily SSWE/SC&P and SSPE products to International Oil Companies.
- To support Brazil on the promotion and market of the equipments and Aftermarket Services to Drilling Contractors and assist with technical sales/problems solving with these Drilling Contractors.
- To actively stay involved in the installation of the equipments with IOC and DC programs.
- To assist and direct the preparation of quotations/proposals for business opportunities with IOC’s.
- To liaise with other [Company] locations to ensure effective supply of products/support to Brazil, and to ensure that current technical data and practices are being used in Brazil operations.
- To ensure that [Company] becomes a major, reliable supplier to IOC’s and DC’s.
- The Account Manager must be able to represent [Company] professionally to our customers. Regular status reporting will be required.
- It will be the Account Manager’s duty to make sure that the reputation of [Company] is upheld in all interactions with Brazil personnel and Brazil-based customers.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Engineering degree or equivalent.
- 5+ years of demonstrated strategic selling skills including customer presentations, price quoting, tender response, negotiation, closing and growing a sales territory in the Oil & Gas sector.
- Previous Oil & Gas high-end capital equipment sales / operations.
- Robust interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to work independently as well as with a team.
- Ability to energize, develop, and build rapport at all levels within an organization.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze customer requirements and develop financially sound sales solutions.
- Proven customer acumen and relationship building skills in the Oil & Gas sector.
- Ability to execute and communicate Sales strategies in a global environment.
- Fluent English.
