Essential Responsibilities
- Analyze the customer needs, flow down and document design specs/validation plans;
- Organize & actively involved in technical reviews, complete design under a quality management system.
- Design circuit boards for new products in subsea drilling and relevant systems.
- Makes creative/alternative designs for existing products;
- Improve performance, quality and cost while ensuring the safety/EMC/reliability requirements.
- Support PWA boards qualification in fabrication and support quality issues in field use.
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor degree & solid achievement in following area:
- Altium proficient
- PCB layout experience for EMC, Safety and low voltage directive
- Experience of digital design
- Experience of analogue design
- Conversant with fieldbus , Ethernet, canbus technologies
- Embedded processor experience eg FPGA
- Good communication skills, English written and spoken
Desired Characteristics
- At least 8 years working experience
- Good English and Chinese communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Demonstrated project management skills with ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Clear Thinker. Excellent PC Skills.
- Self starter with proven ability to lead across functions;
- Proactive in approach to issue resolution.
- Ability to work effectively in an autonomous environment.
- Ability to travel
