Role Summary/Purpose
Provide overall business leadership to the Drilling & Production (D&P) operations and personnel in Australia
Essential Responsibilities
- Responsible for the D&P P&L in Australia, ensuring the business has a common vision and unified operating rhythm to realize growth, profitability and cash management objectives. This includes Orders, Revenues, Contribution Margin, Base Costs, P&E, Inventory and Cash Flows from Operating Activities (CFOA).
- Serve as host leader [Company] in the region, bringing the O&G business units together by setting a common vision and driving one face to the customer.
- Drive sales, commercial operations and customer relationships: work within matrix organization to ensure service levels and projects are delivered appropriately
- Ensure all personnel operate to [Company] Compliance & Integrity standards.
- Build our business relationships with the NOC, IOCs and Independent customers operating in Australia. Strengthen relationships with key suppliers and local government agencies in the region.
- Partner with the Global Functional leaders and Product Platform leaders to make sure we fulfill on our contractual commitments.
- Develop the leadership capabilities of the local management team
- Provide local leadership on overall business priorities such as Quality, EHS, Commercial Excellence, Resource & Asset Optimization, Localization and Fulfillment Excellence
Qualifications/Requirements
- Prior P&L leadership experience – minimum 5 years
- Minimum 10 Years in Oil & Gas Industry experience.
- Must be able to travel ~30% of the time (within and out side the region).
- Experience of working in large, global businesses
- Prior Sales or Service Leadership Roles - for services experience, preferred field leadership type roles, ideally in oil and gas industry.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and develop relationships at the highest level.
- Capability to work in complex projects understanding customers needs and criticalities
- Ability to redefine and introduce a streamlined business unit structure to meet changing market conditions.
- Ability to develop the business unit strategy, engaging management team in strategy formulation and delivery
- Strong financial management skills, including significant budget & revenue management ( minimum $50MM)
- Ability to lead people both directly and indirectly in matrix organization
- Possess or be able to obtain work authorization in Australia
Desired Characteristics
- Greenbelt certification ([Company] only)
- Master's Degree in Business Administration
- Previous experience in a multinational company.
