· Oil and Gas Owner Operator
[Recruiter] is currently sourcing for a Senior Subsea Project Engineer for our client, a well renowned global oil and gas owner operator. This is an exciting opportunity to work in [Location] on a world class Offshore LNG Project in WA.
The successful candidate will be charged with developing the Subsea Tree System design, contracting philosophies; oversee technical and logistic aspect of delivery and installation of subsea system. Their responsibilities are as follows:
Responsibilities:
· Develops design philosophies, basic configuration and functional and operational requirements.
· Develops specifications, scopes of work and supply, reimbursement mechanisms and schedules for ITT documents
· Assists in potential supplier assessments and pre-qualification
· Technically assess tenders, clarifies and negotiates detail to suit project requirements making technical recommendations for award
· Oversees and ensures contractor meets requirements of contracted scope of work. (designs, documentation, testing, shipping and installation)
· Ensure integration of subsea system in the whole design and across respective contracts.
· Assist in development of the project schedule and ensure activities are completed in line with project schedule
Experience:
· Mechanical Engineering Degree or higher technician level with relevant experience
· Minimum 10 years experience in similar role
· Previous experience in delivering integrated solutions
· Working knowledge of Industry Standards such as API, ISO, etc
