Job Description
- Demonstrate a professional work ethic and actively participate as a member of the Discipline Workface Planning Team.
- Work with the Discipline Planning Team to understand the construction schedule and resource delivery requirements.
- Assist in Support and ensure participation in FISL’s (Flint Infrastructure Services Ltd) safety program including attending tool box talks, workface THA’s, weekly safety meetings .
- Respond to and provide clarification concerning resource procurement and delivery
- Work with Project Material Management group to ensure the timely delivery of resources
- Order or request all construction materials by BOM or PO and track receivables with accuracy to schedule
- Assist in the development of Field Work Packages
- Assess the impact of inefficiencies on the successful completion of planned activities and adjust the plan as required
- Provide planning reports to the Superintendent as required
Job Requirements
- High school or trade school
- Inter Provincial Journeyman trade
- An understanding of Primavera or Microsoft projects would be an asset
- Computer knowledge for working in Microsoft Office would be an asset
- 2 years in a Journeyman or Supervisory capacity in an industrial or commercial work environment
- Good planning, organizational and communication skills
