We currently seek a number of experienced Competency Assessors to provide services across the upstream coal seam gas (CSG) business in Queensland.
As an integral part of People Development-CSG, reporting to the Team Leader-Onshore Capability Delivery, this position is responsible for developing relevant assessment standards and processes and for competency assessment within the areas of health, safety, and environment; operations; and maintenance for frontline CSG operations.
Key accountabilities include:
· Application of Origin’s competency assurance standards and guidelines;
· Assessing group and individual learning needs throughout the assessment process and subsequent in providing a competency gap analysis with the individual;
· Input into individual competence assurance plans, as appropriate
· To be successful in this role you have:
· Extensive experience (greater than 10 years) in the upstream petroleum industry, preferably some experience in CSG operations;
· An interest and passion for process workforce development;
· Experience in workplace assessment to relevant demographics;
· Experience in working with training and competency systems and associated services;
· Technical and workplace training and assessment qualifications
· The role includes regular travel, spending time away from home on a rostered basis.
