Job Description:
[Company] , provides self-elevating lifeboats, cranes, lodging and accommodations to the offshore drilling industry, both domestically and internationally. [Company] has the most diverse fleet of lifeboats in the world with leg length from 145 to 25 feet and capable of working in water depths up to 180 feet. [Company] maintains one of the highest safety records in the industry and is interested in candidates who will help to maintain or exceed that record.
AB/Oiler is needed for the Derrick Barge Operations crew to join their team working on new 880 ton Derrick Barges and 5000 HP Anchor handling Tugs. All applicants must have experience with a Derrick Barge in order to be considered for this position. All Tug crews must have a license and anchor handling experience.
The AB/Oiler MUST have the following requirements:
- Must have a Valid seaman’s book and Vanuatu license
- Must have a STCW certification
- Must have past AHT experience in which anchor handling experience is documented for pipelay or DB operations
- Must be able to remain at sea for 90 minimum hitches
- Must have a valid passport
- Must have extensive knowledge of rigging and API codes
- Must be capable of working at heights and in work baskets from a floating crane
- Must be certified in water survival training
- Must be experienced with all areas of retrieving and rigging buoys and anchors in a marine environment
