[Company] 's business offerings include remotely operated vehicles, built-to-order specialty subsea hardware, deepwater intervention and manned diving services, non-destructive testing and inspections, mobile offshore production systems, and engineering and project management.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Position duties include developing engineering concepts, designs, models and drawings while working with project teams or individually. Must have the ability to select materials, fabrication/machining methods that create a cost effective design, and design tolerances. Duties involve interfacing with customers to discuss design requirements and specifications; coordinating and interfacing with Assembly and Manufacturing; analyzing and checking other engineering sketches, drawings, specifications and related data to determine design factors and requirements; creating and checking machine drawings, weldments, assemblies, and general arrangement drawings and models. Position requires the ability to expedite and multi-task between multiple projects. May supervise junior designers. Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
Associate degree or equivalent from technical school. Minimum 15 years related experience.
Proficiency in SolidWorks is a must along with Word, Excel, and AutoCad. Experience with Ematrix is an advantage.
