We are seeking an experienced Seismic Vibrator Mechanic to work at various locations around Australia.
Competitive rates will be on offer for the right person.
The position is 6 weeks on and 3 weeks off.
The successful applicant will have the ability to work autonomously and will be entirely responsible for keeping the [Company] Seismic Vibrator fleet to a high operational standard at all times.
The person we are seeking will need to be a good all-rounder as the work is varied, challenging and hands on. The successful applicant will need to be comfortable working on a varied range of Seismic vibrators and, at times, other support equipment. These include I/O AHV IV 362 4x4 Buggy’s, IVI Hemi 60 4x4 Buggy’s, IVI Hemi 50 6x6 Trucks, IVI 4X4 Enviro Vibes, Pelton Vib Pro electronics, light 4x4 vehicles, all wheel drive trucks, prime movers, trailers, generators, pumps, accommodation and other camp caravans.
Essential:
· Previous Seismic Vibrator experience
· Heavy Vehicles
· Hydraulics
· Minimum HR licence
· High level of physical fitness
· Ability to work in harsh environmental conditions
· Must be able to pass pre-employment medical and ongoing drug/alcohol screening
Desirable:
· Experience in maintaining vehicles to National Heavy Vehicle Accreditation standards
· Automotive air-conditioning accreditation
· HC, MC licence
