Description
This position is responsible for all land related activities including broker supervision; negotiations of joint venture agreements, operating agreements including JOA's, unitization agreements; acquisition of leases, rights-of-way, surface use and damage agreements; title approval for drilling operations. Landman will also be responsible for working with the Bureau of Land Management, US Forest Service, and various State Offices in the Rockies. This position supports the Altamont, UT operating area.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years oil and gas experience required
- Strong interpersonal skills necessary for working with team members and industry partnership
- Self motivated individual with strong negotiating skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Rockies experience necessary
- Candidate should be proficient in Word, Excel and land databases
- Must be willing to travel for short periods
- College degree required.
