Description
- Prospect analysis and economic modeling.
- Fluent in reservoir simulation model (Eclipse knowledge a preference)
- Interact with business unit reservoir engineers to develop support documentation and provide proven reserve booking recommendations to corporate reserves department.
- Ability to peer review a project from a technical basis
- Fluent in probabilistic risk analysis
- Facilitate the development of quarterly Board of Directors and Investor presentations and annual Analyst Day presentation. This process includes developing the presentation outline, coordinating data collection across organization, financial and operation analysis to support slide content, drafting speaker script notes, and preparing senior management for communication.
Qualifications
- Engineer,Sr Staff Reservoir
- The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors degree in Petroleum Engineering (or related discipline). MBA a plus.
- A minimum of 10 years of Exploration and Production industry experience is needed along with a comprehensive understanding of the geophysical, geological and petrophysical and economic aspects of reservoir evaluations. Must have international experience. Experience in Brazil and Egypt is a plus.
- Proficiency with several internal and external reservoir evaluation tools including ARIES is expected. The candidate should have extensive experience working in cross-functional teams
- The successful candidate will be a self-starter interested in working in a team oriented, highly motivated work environment.
- Candidate should thrive in a fast-paced environment, simultaneously managing multiple projects, while maintaining the ability to remain flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
- This candidate should also have a strong understanding of economic modeling, E&P business drivers, and excellent communication skills
