Role Summary/Purpose
As a senior member of the Turbomachinery marketing group, you will be responsible to lead all marketing related activities across a combination of industry sectors and geographical regions, with the objective of creating a well defined business strategy for the multi-billion $ Oil & Gas Turbomachinery business unit
Essential Responsibilities
- Analyze, provide and present market dynamics, trends, size, opportunities and risks to the business, including updates to the VP and CEO
- Be completely linked in to the front line of the business, working closely with sales, commercial operations, product & platform leadership and customers
- Understand your market space through customer visits and involvement in commercial discussions
- Provide market discipline to product and platform leadership groups and provide crucial inputs into product development and platform strategies
- Lead the definition of the 3-year Growth Playbook business strategy
- Drive structure and organization of Global Annual Customer Meeting for [Company]
- Be a senior member of the marketing team, leading ad-hoc functional initiatives & coach more junior members of the team
Qualifications/Requirements
- University educated with a degree in Engineering, Business/Marketing or related fields· At least 10 yrs experience in the Oil & Gas industry (E&P. transportation (pipeline & LNG) or refinery & petrochemical), or a strategy/marketing track record in a related field
- Has excellent communication & presentation skills combined with boardroom presence and is able to speak, read & write English fluently
Desired Characteristics
- Previous experience with turbo machinery equipment
- A ‘consulting mindset’, responsive and able to deliver under pressure
