Job Description:
Works with the business community to identify business requirements and implement business technology solutions. Responsible for programming, testing, debugging, and documenting complex programs under general supervision. Performs moderately complex systems analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Participates in certain aspects of user consulting, systems analysis, general systems design, and detail systems design.
- Maintains and modifies existing application programs.
- Develops new programs of moderately complex to complex scope, works with basic applications systems design specifications.
- Develops program test plans and assists in the development of application test plans.
- Creates and maintains effective system and program documentation.
- Uses moderately complex to complex debugging techniques to test programs/applications.
- Identifies program and application problems, and suggests practical resolutions.
- Assists in the education and development of less experienced IT Programmers and Programmer / Analysts.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a regular full-time basis without restrictions.
- A college degree in Computer Sciences or Information Systems with at least 3+ years experience in programming.
- Possesses a moderate understanding of object-oriented concepts. Understanding of Microsoft. Net Framework is mandatory, with advanced C# knowledge required. Informatica, or an equivalent ETL tool, experience is preferred. Sharepoint experience a plus.
- Possesses a moderate understanding of SQL syntax and relational databases.
- Utilizes structured programming techniques.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems.
- Ability to perform some independent project work.
- Ability to provide user support with very little assistance.
- Ability to effectively work in a team environment.
- Ability to successfully work and communicate with business area personnel and management.
- Capable of working independently and efficiently on several tasks.
