A Flow Assurance Engineer to provide expertise to the Flow Assurance engineering group within a leading engineering consultancy in the Subsea Arena.
Our client specialises in providing subsea engineering services to the subsea oil and gas industry worldwide. Their areas of technical expertise range from and include Deepwater Pipelines and Risers, to Subsea production systems, which enable them to be recognised as a key EPCM in the development of offshore oil and gas.
With a focus on Subsea Engineering, the core responsibility of the Flow Assurance Engineer role will be to provide technical expertise to the Flow Assurance Engineering group within the detailed engineering design of projects.
Involved in all phases of the detailed engineering services, the Flow Assurance Engineer will undertake steady state and transient analysis for Subsea Production Systems with Flow Assurance issues such as:
· Hydrates
· Wax / paraffin
· Asphalteness
· Scale
Requirements:
· As this role is a Senior role and involved with the engineering and analyses during phases from Conceptual, Pre-FEED, FEED, Detailed Desigin, to Installation, the successful candidate must have the following:
· Minimum of 7 years experience in the Subsea Oil and Gas industry.
· Sound knowledge of Systems Engineering / Subsea Systems Engineering, Oil and Gas, and Subsea System Design.
· Tertiary education in a relevant engineering discipline.
· Demonstrable record of specialist engineering.
· Ability to work with clients and colleagues in an open and professional environment with proven results.
· Required software skills are PIPESIM, OLGA, HYSYS, and PRO II.
