As the sun shine state has recently been targeted by global petroleum companies, this clearly reinforces the fact that Queensland has an abundant supply of oil and gas. With the anticipated LNG facilities soon to be constructed in the coastal towns, Coal Seam Gas operators are now looking to ensure the gas can delivered from their tenements situated in regional QLD.
We are partnered with an operator that has been working in the CSG market for a number of years and regarded as being a leader in the production of methane gas. They require a Mechanical Project Engineer that will be based in [Location] office to then travel to site as required. The main focus will be on the design coordination, procurement and project planning on projects that consist of well heads, cross country pipelines, compressor stations and pumping unites.
You will have a background in:
· Oil and Gas projects - CSG preferable
· A degree in Mechanical engineering
· Mechanical understanding of compressors, pumps and piping
· Proven experience as a project engineer in a technical environment
