A Subsea Hardware Engineer to provide technical expertise and projects experience to a leading engineering consultancy within WA's Oil and Gas sector.
 
Our client specialises in providing subsea engineering services to the subsea oil and gas industry worldwide. Their areas of technical expertise range from and include Deepwater Pipelines and Risers, to Subsea production systems, which enable them to be recognised as a key EPCM in the development of offshore oil and gas.
 
With a focus on Subsea Hardware, Pipelines, Flow Assurance and Marine Facilities in Australia, the important aspect of the Subsea Hardware Engineer role will be to have overall responsibility for the technical and / or commercial performance of the project team. Involved in managing the project execution of the detailed engineering services, the Subsea Hardware Engineer will plan, schedule and coordinate all relevant engineering.
 
As this role is involved with the engineering phase from Conceptual, Pre-FEED, FEED, Detailed Designing, to Installation, the successful candidate must have the following:
·         Minimum of 12 years experience in the Subsea Oil and Gas industry.
·         Minimum of 10 years experience in deepwater, functional design, specification development, manufacturing of Subsea Hardware and offshore installation.
·         Demonstrable record of specialist engineering.
·         Tertiary education in a mechanical, electrical, or other related engineering discipline.
·         Demonstrated leadership experience and technical achievement in relevant projects and key roles.
·         Sound ability to work with clients and colleagues in an open and professional environment with proven results.
·         Planning and budgeting capabilities.
·         Effective oral and written communication skills.
