Job Description:
We are currently seeking an Organizational Systems Manager for our corporate office located in downtown Houston, TX.
Responsibilities:
- Setting systems goals that are aligned with and support company goals and desired safety culture and climate
- Employing deep understanding of HR and HSE business software applications to assess configuration, documentation and effectiveness of current HRIS, LMS and HSE applications
- Owning HR and HSE applications as a super-user and non-IT systems administrator
- Identifying and building relationships with stakeholders by understanding mission-critical needs and building system capabilities that meet these needs
- Acting as a translator, converting technical solutions into practical tools, easily understood by the user community
- Evaluating and recommending systems changes and/or enhancements that will optimize application efficiencies and process automation
- Partnering with Corporate IT to ensure that HR and HSE systems architecture is compatible with overall IT systems architecture
- Engaging Corporate IT programming, DBA and/or systems administration assistance as needed
- Evaluating data quality and driving continuous improvement of data input/output
- Evaluating and acquiring competency in software enhancements or applications that improve systems efficiencies or synergies
- May provide training to users as necessary
- Performing other related duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
- Three to five (3-5) years experience with enterprise level software
- Strong project management skills and experience
- Must demonstrate bold, inquisitive mindset, testing the “status quo”
- Demonstrated history of successful management by influence vs. authority
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
