You will be responsible for the structural design of a large number of offshore structures: FPSO topsides and mooring systems and (floating) offshore units, including FPSO / FSRU hulls, jack-up units and semisubmersibles.
You will also be responsible for:
- Preparation of technical proposals
- Interfacing with relevant other disciplines
- Leading a design team
- Preparation of specifications, drawings and design calculations
You must have the following experience:
- BSc in Naval Architecture or Offshore Engineering, Mechanical, Civil or Aerospace Engineering
- Minimum 8 years experience in Structural engineering, with a minimum of 3 years at a senior position
- Strong experience in shipbuilding or offshore structural engineering, with a focus on hull structures
You must be a Malaysian national to fulfill this requirement.
